My Beginning of the Year Goals

My goals for the beginning the year was to improve in my sports, learn to defend my faith better, and to get a 4.0 for each semester. I thought I did pretty well on them because I did improve in areas of my sports, but unfortunately we did not make playoffs in football. I learned how to defend my faith period a lot in Bible classes and in general on campus this year, and that really strengthened my faith. I also did get a 4.0 for the first semester and it looks like I'll be able to squeak by 2nd semester with one too. I'm pretty proud of me and how I was able to accomplish what I set out to do.

How to use social media to defend your faith

We can use social media to defend our faith in a lot of ways. We can use it to respond to people who question the Lord. The people who openly denounce Christ are the ones that need is the most. Sometimes we can call people out who are hypocritical. Social Media is very useful.

A good example of using social media as a tool for the Lord is posting bible verses. People who follow you have to read it! This is a good way to spread the word. We can also retweet pictures about God. Even just letting someone see a picture of Jesus can plant a seed.

We need to use social media for the Lord. Also, sometimes people will use social media to attack Christianity. We need to respond to those people. We need to defend our faith because the Lord calls us to. Using the social media is a good idea for Christians.

SPRANG BREAK FOREVER

This spring break was a good one. I just took the time to relax, and I needed that. I think everyone should take some time off. My highlight was probably being able to sleep in almost everyday. the extra hours really gave me the energy to play MW2 for hours on end.

Unknown but awesome app

An app that I like to use and that is really cool is the app called Sky Guide. Sky Guide uses your GPS location and the orientation of your phone to show you the stars and constellation in the sky. Ever wonder if that shining object is a star or a planet? This app can discern that for you. You can also tap on the star on your phone and can learn information on the star like how far away and how big it is.

I like to use this app sometimes when its a warm summer night and the stars are out. This app can really help you understand the sky and the constellations because sometimes they are hard to see. You can also learn a lot about the objects in the sky.

This app is $1.99 in the app store, but it is worth it. If you like stargazing then this is the app for you.

My Hero

My hero is one of the best. He is amazing. He is a legend. Chef Boyardee. He inspires me everyday to be the very best I can be. His sauce is unrivaled. Chef cannot be topped.

Chef Boyardee's real name is Ettore Boiardi. He was born on October 22, 1987 in Piacezna, Italy.

When he was 16, he moved to the wonderful country of America. Soon, he would become a ravioli kingpin. He soon became chef of kitchen in New York.

By the end of his career, he had become the face of a franchise. His face was on cans and television screens everywhere. Sadly, this great man died of natural causes on June 21, 1985. May his memory live on forever.

His contributions to fast and affordable sauce were revolutionary at the time. His raviolis are meaty and flavorful. I recommend them.
Hero: Someone who saves someone's life and can make a significant difference in this world

The Sauciest Song of All Time

Today, I'd like to take a break from my usual blog routine. I will share with you my favorite song. This song gets me pumped up and reminds me I can do anything because I am the man. I am a man and should be confident in my life.

I like the part where it says, "I'm the man, I'm the man, I'm the maaaaan." It really speaks to me. Im kidding. But in all seriousness, my favorite line is when it says, "God made my mold different from the rest/Then he broke that mold so I know I'm blessed ." It reminds me that I'm unique.

I'm happy to share this with you. I hope you enjoy the song as much as I do. Remember everybody, you are the man, unless you're a woman. Then, you're the woman.

PS: Sauce posts will return soon.

Sauce Recipe #2

For my second sauce recipe, I was thinking I would share something from the far east. Also, since it is valentines day, I would choose something special. This is a very delicious sweet & spicy chili Thai sauce. Great for Valentine's day because hopefully your night will start sweet and with a spicy twist just like the sauce ;) Enjoy!

  • 3/4 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 1 tbsp. of finely minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp. of crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp. or less Siracha/Hot sauce (optional)
  • 1 tbsp. of cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp. of cold water
  • 1/ tbsp. of fish sauce (or 1/2 tsp. of salt if you don't have any)
You'll want to start out by taking a sauce pan and turning on your stove to a medium high heat. Put the sugar in the pan. Add the rice vinegar and water to the pan and stir until the solution starts to boil and all the sugar is dissolved. Add the finely minced garlic and the crushed red pepper. If you want it to be really hot and spicy, like your date, add the siracha or hot sauce to it. Adding this will give a spicy ending to the sweet beginning, like your night. Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes until it thickens and all the flavors blend. While it simmers, dissolve the cornstarch in the cold water in a separate dish until all the lumps are gone. Turn up the heat until the sauce bubbles rapidly and then pour your cornstarch mixture in. Finally, add the fish oil/ salt to add a saltiness to the sauce. However, don't skimp out on your date otherwise she will be bitter the next day! You can use this sauce for many things, including: egg rolls, rice, chicken, pork, or any other Asian dish. This sauce can pull a meal, and two people, together.

Clash of Clans and Why I'm better at Life than the Chompster

I began playing this game called Clash of Clans recently. It's very addicting and fun. However, there are very annoying people on that game like the infamous Chompster. His clan is trash compared to mine. A wet cardboard box has better defenses than his village's defense. His offense is terrible. My little kitten can raid villages better than his barbarians. My village is trudging along right now. I am currently upgrading my town hall and gold storage. If you want my awesome village in your clan, send me a request at The Sauciest. I will probably accept it.

Sauce recipe #1

When I started this blog, I kept my love for a good sauce in mind. There are many but I absolutely love pasta sauce. Here is one of my favorite recipes:

This recipe is good for any kind of pasta under the sun. It is perfect for spaghetti, raviolis, rigatoni, bowtie pasta, lasagna, and even just drinking it like a smoothie. Maybe put some cheese on top of your dish to add more calories so you'll feel worse about yourself after eating 3 pounds of pasta.
  • 1 pound sweet Italian sausage, sliced
  •
  •
  •
  •
  •
  •
  •
  •
  •
  •
  •
  •
So you're gonna want to cook the meat, onion, and garlic together until its brown. Drain or keep the fat depending on how much you hate yourself. Put it all in a big pot on the stove on medium heat. Stir in the tomatoes, the tomato SAUCE, and the water. Stir it while adding in the sugar, basil, fennel seeds, seasoning, and the pepper. Stir it up. Put the stove on low heat, cover the pot, and let it simmer for 1.5 hours while stirring it occasionally. After its done, soak your pasta in it while eating a whole loaf of bread with a whole stick of butter. Enjoy with several bottles of wine and a few movies.

How much I hate TheChompster

TheChompster is the worst blog of all time. It is a mediocre blog. DON'T YOU EVER TALK ABOUT ME. If you try and compete with my blog with a sorry blogger like Chompster, this is what happens. I AM THE BEST BLOG ON BLOGSTER.

I just wanted to let everyone know that the Chompster is mediocre. M-E-D-I-O-C-R-E.

That is all.

Enjoy this blog everyone.
